SalarySe is a fintech company that aims to revolutionize how India’s 100 million salaried employees manage their finances. By leveraging the growing credit-on-UPI (Unified Payments Interface) ecosystem, SalarySe empowers users to spend, save, invest, and plan their salaries efficiently, helping to alleviate financial stress.

India has one of the lowest revolving credit penetration rates among major economies, with only a small fraction of the population having access to credit cards. However, UPI’s widespread adoption paves the way for credit-on-UPI to become a significant player in the country’s financial landscape. With its simple and ubiquitous platform, UPI, combined with credit access, is poised to drive a major expansion in India’s credit market.

SalarySe is seizing this opportunity by making revolving credit more accessible to India’s middle class through its credit-on-UPI technology. This platform blends the ease of UPI with the flexibility of credit, while also ensuring responsible lending through SalarySe’s proprietary collection and risk underwriting systems. These innovations help reduce both risk and pricing for unsecured and revolving credit products.

Headquartered in Gurugram, SalarySe was founded by Mohit Gorisariya, Saumeet Nanda and Piyush Bagaria. Mohit, an alumnus of IIM Lucknow, has experience working with HSBC Bank, KPMG, and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Saumeet, an IIM Ahmedabad graduate and former IIT Madras engineer, also brings experience from HSBC Bank and BCG. Piyush, who completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and engineering from IIT Kharagpur, has worked in Private Equity across Carlyle and CVC Capital.
