Aretto is reinventing footwear with patented, growth-adaptive shoes that expand with a child’s feet for lasting comfort and healthy development.

Children outgrow shoes rapidly, leading to costly, wasteful replacements that often compromise foot health. Most children’s footwear lacks the adaptability, durability, and ergonomic design needed to support healthy growth.

Designed with sustainable materials and guided by barefoot principles, Aretto’s shoes fit better and last longer. Equally importantly, they intuitively expand as a child’s foot grows, stretching up to three sizes without manual intervention. The shoes also feature plush sole cushioning, sweat-resistant fabric, and an easy on/off design for everyday use.

Headquartered in Pune, Aretto was founded by Satyajit Mittal, a product designer-turned-entrepreneur. As the founder of a sanitation-focused firm called Sanotion, Satyajit previously created SquatEase, a platform designed to improve personal hygiene in developing communities in India.
