Despite this, there is no comprehensive retail platform that offers consumers high-quality, well-designed home furnishings and accessories at a good price point. Online shoppers have to choose between expensive luxury brands or low-quality options at lower price points.

Vaaree’s curated marketplace model addresses the gap in the market with products that are handpicked from manufacturers for their versatility, beauty, workmanship, quality and durability. The company lists items directly from manufacturers and relies on supply chain efficiencies, minimal packaging and limited advertising to keep prices affordable for consumers.

New products are launched every day, offering customers an abundant choice – and a reason to return regularly to Vaaree.com. In less than one year of operations, Vaaree has delivered 30,000 products with an average rating of 4.6/5. Today, it has more than 6,000 products across multiple home furnishing categories.

Vaaree, which is based in Bengaluru, was founded in January 2022 by Garima Luthra, Pranav Arora and Varun Vohra. Garima is a Punjab University, Bachelor of Technology alumni with extensive business development and marketing experience from her time at top-tier start-ups like Blinkit, formerly Grofers; Furlenco, Acko and CRED. Pranav, who co-owned and ran Aaywon Lamitubes and Packaging Solutions for over a decade, is an experienced manufacturing and factory management professional. Varun, an alumni of BITS Pilani, is a serial founder who has built and scaled several businesses in the medical and consumer space.
