Kindling

The Insight
Founders increasingly understand that storytelling can be a growth lever across hiring, fundraising and sales, but executing it consistently remains difficult. Building an in-house team is expensive, agencies can struggle to understand a company deeply enough, and the work often falls back on founders themselves.
At the same time, distribution is increasingly driven by individuals. Kindling believes the companies that win attention will be those whose founders can consistently articulate what they are building, why it matters and what they believe.
The Product
Kindling’s AI platform builds a continuously evolving understanding of each founder and company, helping with ideation, scripting and creative briefing. Its software is paired with creative strategists, an in-house editing team and a vetted global network of videographers to take ideas from concept through execution and distribution.
The ambition is to let startups run founder-led storytelling end to end without needing a five-person marketing team, with the system becoming more useful as it learns the company, founder and audience over time.
The Journey
Adam and Sachin’s path to Kindling began through media. Together, they have recorded more than 100 episodes of The Sachin & Adam Show and produced documentaries inside technology companies including PsiQuantum, Runway, Retro Biosciences and Baseten. That work gave them a close-up view of the gap between how compelling many startups are internally and how poorly those stories are often communicated externally.
Adam studied Philosophy, Finance and Economics at the University of Sydney, with time at Utrecht University, and built his career across YouTube, podcasting and documentary filmmaking focused on business and technology. At Kindling, he leads operations, media, hiring and partnerships.
Sachin was previously an Investment Manager at Airtree and has built his career at the intersection of venture capital, technology and media. His interest in technology storytelling is also personal: seeing a life-changing electric wheelchair transform his brother’s independence, while remaining little known to many people who could benefit from it, made him deeply interested in how important technology finds its audience.
The Belief
Build something people want. Assemble the best team. Live ten years in the future, make sure the market and direction of travel are right, and focus relentlessly on the one or two things that drive everything else.
