Neurowyzr
Neurowyzr is a HealthTech company that specializes in developing state-of-the-art technologies to screen, diagnose, treat, and monitor early brain decline. The company is developing solutions to address existing gaps in neurology and brain health and prevent serious brain conditions such as dementia, stroke, and other mental health issues.
According to estimates, over 50 million people were suffering from dementia in 2020. It’s a number that’s expected to grow to 152 million by 2050. Currently, one in six people globally have a mental health problem. The lifetime risk of stroke has also increased by 50% over the last 20 years and now affects one in four people. Neurowyzr’s products are designed to address these issues which will have a serious impact on families and societies.
The company’s first product is an assessment tool called Digital Brain Function Screen (DBFS). The tool, which uses games and puzzles, significantly reduces the time and cost of traditional cognitive testing. DBFS then produces a medical report within a minute of the test’s completion. This report can be used for clinical discussion and does not require a specialist’s attention.
DBFS’ low cost and accessibility has allowed it to be quickly deployed across screening centers, GP clinics and hospitals in Singapore and India. DBFS is registered with the Food and Drug Administration of the United States and Thailand, the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia, and Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority.
The company’s second offering, Attayn Corporate, is designed to help employees formulate personal growth plans for their brain health.
Headquartered in Singapore, Neurowyzr was founded in June 2019 by Pang Sze Yunn and Navdeep Vij Singh. Navdeep graduated with a degree in neuroscience from the University of Melbourne and has worked with healthcare charities and non-profit organizations for over a decade. Sze Yunn has held roles in healthcare organizations and enterprise software, in companies like Microsoft and Philips, and also sat on the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Longevity in 2020.
